3 LJ and I stood up to Nadia the school bully 4 I got to know Sammy Allana and Dale 5 The whole school got into a huge mud fight Partly because of me LJ must have felt the same way because she invited me Sammy Allana and Dale to hang out at her house today For the first few hours it rained so we watched this movie called The Goonies It’s about a bunch of kids who follow this pirate map and go on some crazy adventures LJ’s mom even got us a bunch of Baby Ruth chocolate
bars to snack on because that’s the candy bar they eat in the movie I love any movie that has a sweet treat in it Then it got all bright and shiny out and LJ and I looked at each other and said basketball at the same time LJ asked her mom if we could go to the park near her house and she said it was okay but she made LJ’s big brother Darien come with us LJ and I love to compete with each other at basketball because we’re the two best players at our school Allana and Dale haven’t played much b-ball so LJ and
Allana were one team and Dale and I were the other Sammy thinks basketball is boring but he knows a lot about it because his older sister plays it so he volunteered to be the referee Darien thinks basketball is even more boring than Sammy does so he just sat on a swing playing on his phone Even though we were on the court and LJ was on the foul line getting ready to shoot her free throw I kept thinking about The Goonies I felt like my group of friends was just like those kids
Before LJ could shoot I said I think we should come up with a name for our group Everyone knows I’m The Outlaw Do they Sammy asked Yeah I’m pretty sure everyone calls you Robin Hood now LJ said
