WELCOME TO SLEUTH & SOLVE Get ready to solve mysteries that require two different ways of thinking and analyzing Some are solved by using logic while others are solved with your imagination The icons at the top of each mystery let you know how to proceed in each case Logic Imagination USING LOGIC When you see the Logic icon the mystery will present a setting and a clue Read the whole case thoroughly and observe the illustrations carefully Start by asking yourself questions like Don’t just offer the first solution that comes to mind If you think you know the answer check it by recreating the whole story with your solution in mind Then ask yourself Do all of the elements make sense The solution lies in the text or in the illustrations Read and observe carefully 6
