Human Body INTRODUCTIOn The human body is an amazing piece of natural complex technology made up of billions of tiny building blocks called cells All of these cells do different jobs Cells of the same type group together to form tissue Cells and tissues are organized into larger body parts called organs and these organs form part of the essential systems that run the body All of these cells tissues organs and systems are held together within an internal frame called the skeleton The skeleton holds the body up and gives strength and shape and it also protects the internal organs and allows us to move Finally we have muscles and skin which cover the skeleton and hold everything together Every second of every day the body is doing incredible things of which we are not even aware These processes keep us alive help us fight diseases
