I’d have more time to spend at home if Jimmy would give me a ride but he won’t He never does Or hardly ever anyway At first it was kind of frustrating but I’m over it The bus ride gives me a few extra minutes to spend with my friends on the way to school and it’s a chance to get a bit of homework done on the way home Monica doesn’t ride the bus anymore Now that she and Rory are officially together he’s been picking her up every morning She waltzes into homeroom every day just before the bell rings smiling and with stars in her eyes I can’t wait till Brad gets his license His birthday is before mine so he’ll get to take his drivers test first He’s even taking private driving lessons already It will be really great when my boyfriend can drive

Those days are over After I get off the bus Brad catches up to me in the hall and after a quick kiss we walk to homeroom together holding hands Three girls flirt with Brad as they pass by Hi Brad Great game last Friday I’ll see you in science They don’t talk to me like pretending I don’t exist will make me vanish or something I don’t care I’m not worried that Brad’s going to start liking someone else Everyone knows he and I are together and he and I know we’re going to be together for a while
