L R C is short for Learning Resource Center or as I like to call it Nap Heaven It's really a pretty decked out library with tons of books and computers and it has these great cubbies for private study study Cubby sometimes I bring a little airplane pillow so I can study the inside of my eyelids pillow And triple period is the extra long class that happens during the lunch periods so having L R C triple period is like a gift from the Gods of Lazyland Once again the robot buzzer screams and we head out to find our first class I meet Becky and Ricky in the hall and we compare schedules HEY Ricky you HAVE L R C TRIPLE TOO WE BOTH HAVE FIRST PERIOD LANGUAGE ARTS AND WE ALL HAVE ART FOR SEVENTH THIS YEAR 15 GOING TO ROCK
We better get moving Desmond Becky says Our language class is all the way in the 700 wing I've got math Ricky says with a gagging face I'll see you guys later Let's cut through the sixth grade I say to Becky It will be a lot faster Seventh graders aren't allowed in the sixth grade halls We're just taking a shortcut Don't be such a chicken WE'RE NOT GOING TO GET IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IN TROUBLE We bolt by the lockers and duck into the sixth grade hallways It seems like forever ago that we were last here even though it has been only three months and I feel oddly out of place Well we're almost near the 700 wing now Just around this corner and
boomp NICE SWEATER VEST DORK FACE Whoa That is the biggest sixth grader I've ever seen gasp Like Museum of the Weird big See I told you I had a bad feeling about coming this way Becky says as she picks up my notebook C mon let's just get out of here
