With a few supplies and a little practice you can create drawings of Metro City’s leaping stretching nunchuck wielding hero Cat Ninja You’ll need Eraser Eraser Paper Pencil Pencil sharpener Colored pencils crayons or markers Every drawing in this book starts with simple shapes like lines and circles Details and color are added later Artist tip Draw Step 1 very lightly you’ll be erasing most of those lines
As You drAw eAch step pAy close attention to the color of eAch line Red lines Draw these at this step EXAMPLE Black lines You drew these in an earlier step Grey dotted lines Erase these at the end of this step Color your drawing when you’re done You could even outline your drawing in black to make Cat Ninja look just like he does in the books Artist tip If your first try looks a little wonky don’t worry it’s part of the process Just grab a new piece of paper and try again Try giving Cat Ninja a new uniform or use different colors to give his old one a new look Be creative and have fun
