One morning after a long night of patrolling Cat Ninja goes home He changes out of his superhero clothes and trots up to his human Leon Good morning buddy Out all night again huh Leon says He reaches down and scratches Cat Ninja behind the ears I hope you get some good sleep he says Cat Ninja rubs against Leon's leg and purrs happily Even though being a superhero is exciting there's no other place he'd rather be than at home with his family Cat Ninja follows Leon into the kitchen where Leon's sister Marcie is already waiting for him 4
Hurry up Leon We're going to be late for school she shouts Leon and Marcie gobble down their breakfasts and run out But before he leaves Leon gives Cat Ninja a pat on the head Love you he tells Cat Ninja 5
6 Once Leon and Marcie are gone Cat Ninja curls up on the sofa to take a nap Just as he's drifting off to sleep he's awoken by the sound of whirring blades outside the living room window Master Hamster Marcie's pet hamster flies into the apartment in a bowl that he has turned into a helicopter He jumps out of the bowlicopter and trudges toward Cat Ninja Move over tuna breath Master Hamster tells him I've been up all night working on my latest secret weapon and I need a break
Master Hamster fills his bowlicopter with Yum Yum snacks and hops up onto the sofa next to Cat Ninja He picks up the remote Hope you don't mind a little reality television he says pressing a button The television blares Master Hamster munches and crunches Cat Ninja covers his ears It is far too loud in the living room for him to finish his nap
