Star Wars Saga: A Han & Chewie Adventure — page 9 — 6 HAN OPENED FIRE the Falcon's quad cannons raking the cruiser's bow The Imperial ship shot back but Han dropped into a roll narrowly avoiding the volley of emerald green plasma He streaked past the cruiser heading for a gap between the two frigates It was going to be tight Possibly too tight Chewie understood what Han was planning to do and looked over at his friend in disbelief Trust me Han replied I've done this before Kind of Realizing his foolhardy plan the frigates started to move closer together the gap narrowing by the second Han turned the ship on its side The Falcon shot through the gap so close that its sensor disk scraped the starboard frigate's hull But then they were through soaring into clear space Chewie roared in approval They'd made it Or so they thought In the excitement they'd forgotten about the Star Destroyer The colossal warship fired its turbolasers finding their target The deadly energy struck the Falcon at point-blank
