Chapter 1 Double Trouble A chameleon creeps along a tree branch It moves back and forth To a predator it looks like a leaf in the wind As it sways the chameleon's eyes rotate in all directions It is looking for insects to eat One eye watches the leaves to its left while the other looks ahead This is called monocular vision Each eye sends a different image to the brain One eye only sees leaves But the other eye sees a cricket
