I run to the field and stand by the fence The diggers are parked all in a row It’s too late Maybe tomorrow
In the morning I jump out of bed It’s raining But diggers can dig in the rain can’t they I pull on my boots and grab an umbrella I run outside and look across at the muddy field
The diggers are still parked all in a row I stomp through puddles all the way home I wanted to see if the diggers could dance
