the students teachers and Jell-O secretaries The students are in charge of learning and helping Goat with his homework And I Gertie am in charge of the Cafetorium You know being the custodian of the Cafetorium is a lot of responsibility I have to make sure the Nothing To See Here hatch stays closed at all times even though there’s nothing to see there I have to set up the speakers when we host a performing mime troupe And I have to constantly remind the tentacle monster not to
do K-pop dances where students will slip on its slime Students need a grown-up’s permission to ride the slip n slime no exceptions But because the Cafetorium is a good friend with several minds of its own I rarely tell it what to do Besides it usually comes up with great ideas all by itself Some people have a hard time letting other creatures er people make their own choices Which brings us to Alice Lee the subject of today’s story Alice thinks she’d like nothing better than to be in charge of everyone around her but she’s about to learn that too much responsibility can be suffocating
