new showrunner new cast members and a new direction direction for the series itself Sorry Will muttered But what he was really sorry about was that all the new people were messing up the show which was based on the book series he loved so much Plus they were ruining all the hard work accomplished during season one It seemed like all of it was being undone in season two But if Will was being honest with himself his frustration was about more than just the changes to the show He’d waited all summer to get back not just to acting as Agent Danger on set but to being Agent Danger in real life See one of the perks of this super cool TV gig was that he actually got to be a real life secret agent The show itself was a brilliantly designed cover for 7 Double Agent
real life missions and secret agent work But that didn’t seem to be the case anymore as Ms Z his hero and mentor the world renowned author of the Code Name Danger book series and a secret spymaster spymaster had yet to contact him And not just him No one had seen her in months not even Jarvis a child prodigy tech whiz and Ms Z’s right hand guy Will would have asked Fresca his former partner and bestie but that was another problem she wasn’t returning his phone calls or text messages The last he’d heard she was in Boston filming some movie a world away from him in Los Angeles Will missed her It was like both his mentor and best friend had ghosted him Not a good feeling to say the least Look I know things aren’t the same around here as last year Tim continued especially with how 8 AGENT DANGER
Brody is writing the story The director made a face at the mention of Brody Gunner the new showrunner in charge of each episode’s script But we still have to do our jobs Okay Will nodded despite just wanting to crawl under a rock or at least walk off set and disappear into Good Let’s get it right this time The director patted him on the back before walking off set Places his trailer everyone Will returned to where he’d been shown his blocking blocking during preproduction It wasn’t a difficult scene it just felt wrong Like his lines were forced Agent Danger would never say holy moly or easy-peasy lemon squeezy What was a lemon squeezy anyway and what did it have to do with secret agenting The 9 Double Agent
