Before Cleve Jones was born his great-grandmother sewed a quilt for him Cutting and pinning together fabric scraps Stitching the pieces together The quilt welcomed Cleve home as a newborn on October 11 1954 Cleve napped with the quilt and felt it tuck around him when he was sick The quilt warmed him like the love that stitched it together
