Chapter 1 Jenny's Secret BEDFORD FALLS COCKROACHES Nasty scuttling scrabbling cockroaches EVERYWHERE Inside and out They hid under beds crept into cupboards and skulked in corners They popped up in biscuits swam in the toilet and plagued the playgrounds They were an absolute menace and Bedford Falls had been OVERRUN by them 7
Bad news for the poor townsfolk but excellent news for Mr. Crawley owner of Creepy Crawley's Pest Control company It was his job to get rid of the cockroaches He'd never been so busy which made him very happy 8
