CHAPTER 11 The herd nodded as one The unicorns gathered their strength and began stomping their feet Faster and faster their hooves moved in a thunderous song that echoed around the cave The luminescent lightning bugs flitted over the cave 1
walls emitting a brilliant blue glow as they danced A great rumble rose from the grendell as he stood even taller His head grazed the ceiling and he gave a giant roar The herd stomped one final time and then all was quiet With a mighty whoop the grendell shook himself loose of an invisible force and grinned down at them He’d been fully released from the spell Uncle Mitch sighed with relief as Sam and Tuck hugged Barloc Sam gasped Barloc’s horn was nearly gone She held the unicorn close trying not to cry 2
