The collectors is a high-adventure quest story about two brave and clever girls who travel into the wilderness in pursuit of something extraordinary. Winslow and Rosie have been collecting natural wonders for a long time, and their collection is nearly complete. With only enough room for one more item, the girls go off into the wilderness in search of something extraordinary. Their trek leads them over the valley, through the spruce forest, and up the mountain. And, while they discover many wonderful things, none of them are just the right kind of extraordinary.
