The SS Tahoe is 169 feet 52 m long It carried passengers and delivered mail in the early 1900s It sank in 1940 The drone dives It has a camera that films live video The drone's lights shine into the darkness Rusted metal appears The drone follows the path of a deck Inside a doorway sits a sink once used to wash sailors hands The Deep Ocean The pressure at the bottom of the ocean is very high Scientists cannot explore the bottom layers of the ocean easily A scuba diver can reach depths of 130 feet 40 m Most divers do not go deeper than that It is not safe But the pressure does not harm deep sea drones
Drone operators use special equipment to steer and control the drones Crumpled stacks rise from the middle of the deck Steam from the engine once puffed up and out of the stacks
