Paper Plate Pirate Mask Materials Needed Paper Plate Construction paper Yarn Scissors Glue Hole Punch Instructions 1 Cut out the center of the paper plate leaving an arch across the middle This will become the pirate’s mustache 2 Cut long sections of yarn about 9 inches and tie along the bottom half of the mask and across the arch Trim where necessary to create a beard and mustache 3 Using the rest of the strands of yarn create the pirate’s hair by gluing strands to the top on both sides of the mask 4 Using construction paper cut out the bandana and attach to the top of the mask 5 Cut out a thin circle and attach it to the side of the mask under the hair to create an earring 6 Hole punch either side of the mask and attach yarn that can be tied to secure the mask to the child’s face
