Daisy was thinking about another witch The Witch of Blackbird Pond was a book her school librarian Mrs Warrick suggested for her to read Daisy trusted her librarian and the cover of the book looked good so she had checked it out Never judge a book by the cover Mrs Warrick liked to say or you might miss a real adventure After the story Ms Lilly had them do an activity with nouns verbs adjectives and 7
adverbs Next they had their D E A R Drop Everything and Read time Then they fi lled out their reading journals Finally it was time to go to art Raymond really liked art He said Art is my best subject besides lunch Raymond sat behind Daisy in class He had given her a special souvenir when they went to the museum After that Blanca said Raymond likes you Daisy Daisy thought Blanca was being tonta But then she started to notice that Raymond was always willing to share one of his lunches with her He never offered nachos or pizza to any of the other kids at the table Today they would have art with Min’s class Ms Browner was the art teacher She said You can always remember my name because it has the color brown in it Isn’t that great I just love colors She really did too 8
