The Iron Island

A German submarine has torpedoed the steamship Maiden. The damaged ship is an iron island in the sea. The Oliver family is called on to repair the vessel. Samuel sneaks off to prove to his father that he can safely explore the ship. When the Germans come back to sink the ship they capture Samuel’s father and Uncle. Can Samuel thwart the Germans and rescue his family? Aligned to Common Core standards and correlated to state standards. Spellbound is an imprint of Magic Wagon, a division of ABDO.
