In James Cheats!, James McNair feels like he is always trying to live up to his cousin Greg’s good behavior. School is starting and Greg has skipped a grade—now he’s in the same class as James. James’s friends and family are all teasing him about being in the same class as Greg. When he doesn’t do well, they even suggest Greg should tutor him!
