Styrofoam Snowmen Decorations Materials Styrofoam cup body Styrofoam ball head Various pipe cleaners black and orange Push pins black Fabric Tacky glue Scissors Toilet paper cardboard roll Optional Feather boa material Faux fur Ribbon for outside of top hat Felt for rim of top hat Glitter glue Various buttons Wire for eyelashes Any other household materials that will make your snowman unique and cute Instructions Before you start 1 Cut a small hole in the bottom of the foam cup smaller than the Styrofoam ball just enough to balance the head 2 Use the tacky glue to border a line of glue around the hole in the Styrofoam cup 3 Place the Styrofoam ball over the hole making sure that the glue is touching the ball Allow time about 20 minutes for the head and body of your snowman to dry together Decorating 1 Arms Use a pipe cleaner and push through the side of the Styrofoam cup feeding the pipe cleaner through the center and out through the other side pulling the pipe cleaner until it is equal length on both sides 2 Nose cut a small piece of orange pipe cleaner and push into the Styrofoam ball where appropriate 3 Eyes use two push pins to press into the Styrofoam ball where appropriate for eyes 4 Mouth cut a small piece of pipe cleaner and bend at a 90 degree angle on both ends This creates a place where you can push the pipe cleaner into the Styrofoam ball forming a mouth where it is appropriate 5 Scarf Use any type of material faux fur and feather boa shown in picture to create a scarf for the snowman wrapping around the snowman’s head and using tacky glue to secure 6 Buttons You may use any materials that look nice as buttons If you don’t have anything handy use glitter glue or even a permanent marker to draw them on button and glitter glue shown in picture 7 Hat Cut about 2 inches of the cardboard toilet paper roll and decorate as desired ribbon shown in picture Once you have decorated the hat use tacky glue to secure the cardboard onto the top of the snowman’s head CRAFTS
