Unfortunately for me there’s no storm in the forecast I’m supposed to go walk the dog FrouFrou I can only take him out on sunny days Otherwise he would smell like wet dog and it would ruin his beautiful fur coat Where is the rain when I need it FrouFrou is a white poodle whom I detest He belongs to the MacTerrings our neighbors At the beginning of the summer I had the brilliant idea to offer them my dog walking services in exchange for a few bucks They eagerly accepted This provides me with a bit of pocket money to go to the shop on Candy Road to get my favorite treat chocolate-covered crawfish Yummy yummy yummy So delicious And now it’s been weeks that I’ve been walking ol FrouFrou No crawfish not even chocolate-dipped ones are worth this effort 10
First of all what he looks like FrouFrou is a classic poodle his body is all shaved except for his paws his neck his head and his tail 11
It’s totally ridiculous If only that was all But his attitude his high-and mighty attitude His kennel is almost as BIG as our house As soon as he puts one paw outside this high-class dog transforms into an insufferable mutt He yaps incessantly for so many reasons A cat meowing in the distance the letter carrier crossing the road a leaf falling from a tree a plane flying above us me breathing all of it makes FrouFrou go cuckoo Meeeeowww Woof 12
