Dad made him a custom heat suit so he wouldn’t freeze out here Shannon explained It’s made out of the same high-tech material as our own snowsuits When they arrived in Antarctica Mike Shannon and Jeff each received a specially designed heat suit The suits were made from an ultrathin material created by Shannon and Jeff’s father Dr Broome
Dr Broome had also created Mike’s beloved gadget-filled Dino Jacket The jacket had saved Mike’s life many times during his dino-tracking adventures I suggested we add the tiger stripes Isn’t he scary asked Mike smirking Jurassic Jeff kneeled down and lovingly squeezed Ahfu’s shmushy face Yes you are yes you are You are such a scary-wary doggie Ahfu excitedly licked Jeff’s lips over and over Jeff laughed with delight Ew squealed Mike and Shannon wrinkling their noses What asked Jeff looking up from the slobbery kisses Okay maybe Ahfu isn’t so scary Mike admitted but his former owners are still on the prowl
Dino-Mike and the gang had first met Ahfu on their dino-tracking expedition in China It was there that they also discovered that Ahfu’s former owner Ms Li Jing was part of an evil duo known as Mr and Ms Bones Do you think Mr and Ms Bones will be coming to Antarctica Jeff asked Dino-Mike If they’re looking for whole intact dinosaur skeletons this would be the perfect place to find them Mike replied Since there wasn’t much to do in Antarctica Mike’s dad a world-famous paleontologist had given his son plenty of reading material Dino-Mike had been studying up on the continent
