CHAPTER 1 A Cute and Cuddly baby The baby koala clings to its mother’s furry chest Nearby a twig blows in the breeze The joey reaches for the twig with its tiny paw The little koala misses But it tries again and again Finally the joey grasps the branch It sniffs each leaf These aren’t what it’s looking for The joey will have to try again later That was a lot of work It is nap time now 4
