Stella’s Diary Monday 1 06 p m Boy is it boring It’s so boring I’m talking to myself here and that’s not something that happens very often at all Oh Diary I’ve been trying since this morning to come up with something fun to do but I can’t find anything If the whole day stays as boring as this I’m going to turn into a pile of dust Bleah Time can you start moving a little faster I just shouted out the window But of course there was no answer Time can’t answer and it can’t go any faster than it does no matter how much I yell Things are rarely this boring but today everything just went wrong I’ll give you a list of the things that didn’t turn out right 8 Date
1 It’s way too hot to do anything 2 Hmm this is a pretty short list The heat has ruined everything But I just came up with something I’ll go swimming and I’ll ask the others to come along Yes Game on Monday 1 57 p m Things didn’t go exactly the way I planned I was all excited and packed the following items in my swimming bag 9
1 A snorkel 2 My swimsuit 3 A towel 4 A second towel in case the first one gets soaked 5 A third towel in case both the other ones get soaked I was sure Poppy would come along I rushed over to her place and banged on the door Poppy open up Let’s go swimming Poppy opened her door and looked at me really weird Atwhay isway itway she asked Huh Atwhay isway itway Why was Poppy babbling random sounds Come on stop jabbering like that Let’s go swimming I said but she just grinned Immingsway What do you mean immingsway Why are you talking like that 10
Erehay’s ywhay Poppy giggled and handed me a piece of paper that said I’m speaking Pig Latin today because it’s totes fun and makes a nice change In Pig Latin you take the first consonant sound from each word and put it at the end and then add ay If a word starts with a vowel you add way at the end It’s easy and awesome Yours truly Poppy Could I put up with Poppy speaking Pig Latin The answer was clear no way I’d rather go swimming on my own Well then you can’t come along in case you start swimming like a pig and end up out in the ocean See you I told her Eesay ouyay Poppy said and closed her door I was certain Willow would come along I went to her place Knock-knock-knock Yoo-hoo Willow want to go swimming I called out as I opened her door I was met by a great big cloud of hot smoke 11
