It was a beautiful afternoon on Bird Island Island The sky shone clear as far as the eye could see and many of the birds were out enjoying the lovely weather Bomb Red and Chuck were having a pic nic in Central Bird Park What a beautiful day said Chuck I never get tired of this amazing weather Which is probably a good thing said Red as it’s always sunny here Perfect weather for a picnic said Chuck In fact I have a special surprise for our picnic Ooh what is it asked Bomb He loved surprises Chuck took a small box out of the picnic basket and let Red open the lid Inside was a big mound of the plumpest juiciest worms that Bomb and Red had ever seen 5
Oh my goodness exclaimed Bomb Are those organic worms Those are my favorite He began to shake with excitement Wow I’m impressed said Red Nice going Chuck Chuck smiled pleased that he was able to surprise surprise his best friends He even got a smile out of Red And Bomb was practically shaking he was so happy Ooh thought Chuck Bomb is shaking I hope he explodes Bomb grabbed a big handful of worms and put them on his plate I’m so excited to eat these he said Did I mention mention that these are my FAVORITE He started shaking even more and now Red noticed it as well Uh Bomb said Red calm down buddy You know what happens when you get too excited 6
