First Wednesday of Summer Part 1 It was so not my fault that my arm got stuck in the mailbox at the top of the hill I thought I could retrieve the Science Squad summer confirmation form I mean I'd mailed it only hours before I reached in the opening and fished around but I couldn't feel ANYTHING When I tried to pull my hand out the door snapped shut and got stuck on my chunky oversized ring It's the one that Hannah I mean Moondew gave me It has the mini globe on top with glow in the dark bees floating inside It went really well with my turquoise top which was important because I still believe in making an effort to look decent even if I'm just going to
the mailbox It keeps me from being a completely socially unredeemable nerd I think Then again I suppose it might be considered nerdy to desperately grip the mailbox with both legs and the free arm heaving and grunting like a deranged sweaty bear trying to get its paw out of a metal beehive No amount of fashion know how can that save
nand and cute bee Wing stuck in here imagine this filled with honey Who decided to make those openings so narrow and not arm shaped anyway Luckily the street was empty so no one saw me I gave up pulling on my arm and stood there
roasting under the sun for hours minutes but it felt like hours with my hand stuck in that mailbox prison Rain clouds approached from the coast Typical San Francisco weather just can't make up its mind Sun rain sun rain Fog Rain I know how it feels Note to science self When you go to the mailbox at the top of the hill make sure that you really want to put that mail in there cause there's no getting it back out Unless what you put in the mailbox is a body part That is still attached to you
