A BRAVE RESCUE Two skiers are halfway down a mountain Suddenly they hear a loud roar They look up to see a huge mass of snow sliding toward them This is an avalanche The snow moves fast and covers everything in its path The skiers do not have time to get away Soon they are buried deep in snow Will they make it out alive A team of rescuers arrives at the scene as soon as possible They bring a specially trained dog Its handler gives a command Search The dog runs through the snow It sniffs for the smell of humans Within minutes the dog gives a bark and begins to dig The rescuers join in with shovels Finally they find one of the skiers They pull him to safety Soon the dog starts to dig again It has found the other skier Both are safe thanks to this heroic dog
