Bobbo was a little bear like all the other little bears in the world The only difference was his fur which was a little more curly and more red than the others but you could only see up close
Bobbo lived in a shadowy cave beside a woody hill inside a big forest He lived with Mommy Bear and Daddy Bear his mom and dad During the cold winter months after closing the den’s entrance with branches stones and mud the three bears stayed to sleep in the cold When the seasons turned to spring the snow melted the grass grew on the ground and the leaves grew on the trees and the three bears came out their cave Daddy Bear and Mommy Bear went to look for food in the forest and Bobbo
played near the cave waiting for them to come back Bobbo had a shadow but he didn’t know it was there For a while he didn’t notice at all when it began to move One morning not long after he woke up he was next to a boulder The sun was low All of a sudden Bobbo saw his shadow dark and still on the light-colored rock Who are you he asked curious The shadow didn’t respond Hey you who are you repeated Bobbo The shadow stayed silent
