An Ohio Pledge by Marcia Schonberg I love to travel far and wide And learn where er I roam But I’m a Buckeye through and through Ohio is my home I know about her cities And her counties 88 And I’m happy when I say Ohio’s really great Ohio has another state pledge I salute the flag of the state of Ohio and pledge to the Buckeye State respect and loyalty It was adopted in 2002 by Ohio legislators to honor the 200th birthday of the Ohio flag You can say this pledge after reciting the national Pledge of Allegiance 1
