JUNIOR BRIDGEMAN Milwaukee Wisconsin is known as The City of Festivals Throughout the summer months its citizens and many out-of-town visitors gather together outdoors to celebrate the city’s rich cultural heritage and history through music food and art Nearly every weekend there’s something to celebrate in Milwaukee When the festival season ends and the chill of winter begins to creep in Wisconsinites still enjoy the outdoors However they also head inside to places such as the Bradley Center where they loyally cheer on the city’s National Basketball Association NBA franchise the Milwaukee Bucks The Bucks originated in Milwaukee as an expansion team in 1968 Led by guards Jon McGlocklin and Guy Rodgers the club made its debut at the Milwaukee Arena on October 16 1968 Although the Bucks lost a close contest 9
