Foodie in Training Andrew Scott Zimmern was born July 4 1961 in New York New York His father Robert was an advertising executive His mother Caren was a receptionist He was the couple’s only child When Andrew was six years old his parents got divorced Andrew in his early days of exploring new foods Robert Zimmern loved traveling exploring food culture and of course eating He went on many business trips to different cities and countries Sometimes Andrew went with him They explored restaurants in Europe and Asia as well as around the United States Andrew’s father encouraged him to eat the local dishes He tried many different foods 6 Zany Eats with Andrew Zimmern
