Chapter 1 GOOD MORNING I’d been looking forward to my best friend Allison’s eleventh birthday party for months She and I had some awesome plans Her mom let us order a big bunch of balloons We even handwrote all the invitations together on fancy paper It was supposed to be the best party ever So when my parents walked into my bedroom one morning and told me my family was moving I was devastated We can’t move I insisted Allison’s party is in three weeks Starr I’ve been offered a job that’s too good to pass up Mom said
It’s going to be an amazing new adventure for all of us my dad added trying to convince me
I could tell that their minds were already made up They weren’t asking me they were telling me It had happened before I knew the drill My mom is a super-successful scientist astronaut pilot genius and she’s pretty much awesome at everything She has more trophies and awards than my two brothers and I have put together She’s so into space that my brothers and I have space related names Apollo is thirteen and thinks he’s the coolest thing since ice cubes Cosmo just turned five If you ask me he is the coolest thing since ice cubes Most people call him Cos for short but I usually call him Cozzie because it’s cute My mom is always getting new job offers When she takes a new job we end up having to change schools and make new friends So far we’ve lived in Australia Japan England and the United States and I’m only ten I figure
