a word from Cath LED Dear Readers Welcome to The Hush Treasure Book I am proud that Hush's first adventure into literature has produced the book you hold a real treasure created by some of Australia's most highly regarded authors and illustrators Some of these stories are truly moving others just plain silly This collection is a jumble of joy and reflection a mixture that will whisk you away to a magical place For years Hush has produced albums of original music the Hush collection to bring calm and joy to sick children and their families going through difficult times My experiences as a children's doctor inspired our journey Many wonderful and generous people have joined us along the way Now we have started the Hush Library what a milestone I'm extremely grateful to the hardworking Hush book making group the Hush volunteers and the talented artists of every medium who have lent their efforts to bringing The Hush Treasure Book to life It has been a colourful creative process full of surprises I hope you our readers will find the fun just as infectious Warmest regards ORO
